Alice's Adventures in Wonderland

A strange story that does not really impress me. I often wonder how certain movies and stories reach classic status. I usually expect some sort of underlying profundity in classics. A message for adults, while entertaining children, or some sort of keen moral insight. But if that is contained in this story, it is lost on me. Maybe the surrealism was avongard for the times, but now it's just weird and disjointed. A simple short story of basic entertainment value.

What an important speech! Thank God for the revelation and conviction given to this man to empower him to break down the heresies of Catholicism. My faith would not be the same without his impact.
