Harry Potter

I have read all the books and watched all the movies and it really has become a favourite series. So engaging and exciting.  I enjoyed it enough that I bought the DVD's which says a lot for me.  I try to only buy movies that I am going to get value for money from, which means I have to be confident I will happily watch them quite a few times.
I could write a proper review, but I feel as if the series is so ubiquitous that anything I could say about it would be redundant and repetitive ;).

Lobster Puffs

I've just come back here after about 2 years and checked out my stats. Virtually none, but not quite.  I immediately felt washed with guilt that someone might have actually read my blog and felt like blowing their brains out out of boredom.  Then I found myself chuckling.  I'm sorry for the boringness of this blog, it is really just a pastime for myself for my own entertainment.
So anyway, I made lobster puffs yesterday! Nearly thirty dollars worth of lobster later...

They weren't what I expected.  Imagined they would be pastry puffs rather than dough puffs, but these work I guess. Taste good. I did notice varying images defined as lobster puffs online though, so maybe there is another recipe using pastry.  As far as posh hors d'oeuvres go I'm not sure they'd quite cut it at Emily Gilmore's house.  I still have some of the lobster mix left, so maybe I'll have a go at making a pastry version.
